November 2016

Recently Kathy attended the class on sewing saori weaving on Salt Spring Island.  This is the first saori cloth that she wove.  The pictures show the front and back and one of the many variations on how to wear this poncho.  The poncho is stunning.

    Great post Faye!! Much appreciation goes to everyone involved in putting together such a fabulous weekend and workshop on Saorie weaving at Lake Saskatoon. I love the freedom this style of weaving represents. Creates the opportunity for all the lovely fibre in one's stash to be used in many more possibilities. Excited to see what else is created out of the workshop. Thanks for sharing your beautiful piece Kathy.
