Peace Country Spinners' and Weavers' Poppy Challenge was to make poppies, in any media, to commemorate Canadians who had fallen in Afghanistan. This memorial has been broadened to commemorate all victims of war. This travelling exhibition has been designed to be displayed in all communities in the Peace Country. It has been displayed in Grande Prairie AB in 2012, Fort St. John BC Legion in 2013, Fort St. John North Peace Cultural Centre in 2014, Hines Creek in 2015. The collection continues to be displayed in the Peace Country each November.
