PCSW Resolutions for 2015

Peace Country Spinners' and Weavers' New Year's Resolutions for 2015:

1) Weave some every day.
2) Spin some every day.
3) Continue to wash small amounts of fleece to keep up with spinning.
4) Finish weaving Theo Moorman sample warp from workshop, including weaving samples for exchange. This exchange is open to participants of last year's workshop.
5) Finish one unfinished project per month.
6) Start a new weaving project, the one that has been on the back burner for much too long.
7) Start a new weaving project with the newest most exciting yarn in the stash.
8) Plan hand spun and handwoven projects for Guild art gallery exhibition and or Fall Fair entries.
9) Send Rene at least one article for PCSW Newsletter.
10) Ask that question at the back of your mind for the Tell Me About column in Threads Along the Peace by Marjo.  Such interesting articles she writes!  What is "Tromp as Writ" anyway!
11) Start thinking about making an item for the door prize draw for the guild sale.
12) Sign up for Spinning or other classes at local guild.
13) Start a guild if there isn't one in your area.  All you need to start is 2 enthusiastic people.
14) Remember to complete and mail the PCSW Questionnaire found in the December newsletter, to Rene if not already sent.  We really do need your feedback.
15) Sort stash and equipment and find unwanted items for swap and shop or thrift store.  One needs to make room for future fleece and yarn purchases in 2015.
16) Come to North Peace Spinners' and Weavers' Fibre Fling at Peace Gallery North, Fort St. John, April 10-25, 2015.
17) Come to PCSW Spinning Day at Cheryl Peebles' Studio and Gallery, 10244 99th Ave, Fort St. John, April 11, 2015.
18) Come to a PCSW Tapestry Workshop with Elaine Duncan at Blueberry Camp, close to Prespatou BC, September 2015. 1358@telus.net for more information.
19) Have fun in 2015.  Happy New Year!

These are some of the scarves woven as a fundraiser for the North Peace Spinners' and Weavers' Guild Christmas Sale, to help pay rent for Artspost Studio. Some still are available for sale.

  1. Hi North Peace spinners and weavers,
Warm winter greetings from Wales and a big thank you from all of us for the lovely Christmas gifts you sent us! We had a really good Christmas party and there are still lots of gifts in the box for other Guild members - they will receive their presents at our next meeting.
I am very impressed with your resolutions as well as the scarves! Inspiration for all of us!
    Lots of love
